Burning Up

Earlier today, I was that hot and sweaty I thought that I was going to go Supa Nova! Ok so I am exaggerating, but I was really really hot. All I was doing was sitting in the kitchen with Kirsty and Nathan having a chat and a laugh.

I really needed to cool down and Kirsty suggested that I should go for a ‘walk around the block’, so I did. It was quite cold outside as well and I went for my wee walk without a jumper, fleece, jacket etc.

I must have been about only 30 minutes or so, but I enjoyed messing around with the camera on my iPhone. So the photos below are from that walk.

As for cooling down, yeah the walk in the cold worked wonders.

I worked with Diane when I was in UNISON’s Policy and Information Team in Glasgow for just short of five years.

Diane retired after 35 years working for UNISON and NALGO around August 2016. Myself and Kirsty were delighted when we got the invite to her retirement doo (party), but gutted that we couldn’t make it. This was yet again down to my health.

For sometime now we had been trying to catch up for a blether and a laugh. We finally managed to do that today as Diane came through with her wee dug Charlie. It really was great seeing Diane after a good 20 odd months. Wee Nathan really took to Charlie the wee dug. It was really cute.

I am 1 of only 15 people worldwide diagnosed with maligant myopericytoma. Life threatening surgery in October 2015 at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh saved my life. I am now trying to find the #14others diagnosed with this rare form of cancer. Please help me. https://about.me/kevin.oneil
