It’s been a while since I have given an update about the Prog in the Park charity gig for Maggies UK and Sarcoma UK my own page and the Prog in the Park Page. So here is the update:

Myself and Brian are extremely delighted to announce the final act for Prog in the Park on Saturday 6th April 2019.

We are really excited that Alan Reed and the Daughters of Expediency have agreed to come a long to be part of the very first Prog in the Park. Not only will Alan and the band play a live set, you will also have the chance to talk to him and have your photo taken with him and the band at his merchandise stall.

I have been in talks with Alan for quite a while now to be part of Prog in the Park and he has been a gentleman to deal with. The last time I saw Alan play live was at Marillion’s Port Zelande Holland Weekend in 2013 and he was excellent. So I really am excited to see what he and the band will be playing for us.

I am 1 of only 15 people worldwide diagnosed with maligant myopericytoma. Life threatening surgery in October 2015 at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh saved my life. I am now trying to find the #14others diagnosed with this rare form of cancer. Please help me.
